Charles Taylor Consulting plc (CTC) is pleased to announce the restructure of its Dallas-based aviation adjusting division, which operates under the registered trading name of Charles Taylor aviation. Since 2001, CTC's domestic aviation division has had contractual relationship with certain companies owned by HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc., including U. S. Specialty Insurance Company and Avemco Insurance Company. Under the contract, Charles Taylor aviation was appointed Claims Administrator for these HCC companies.
Upon the expiration of the current contract with these HCC companies, in September 2008, Charles Taylor aviation will be released from its obligations as Claims Administrator, which will allow us to concentrate on developing a wider client base, providing quality claim service to the aviation insurance market, in a timely fashion, at competitive rates.
The change in our core business will bring about a realignment and greater consolidation of our aviation expertise within the US. With the assistance of Joe Hernandez in our Miami office and his staff of experienced airline engineers and international aviation loss adjusters, we will broaden our capacity and enhance our capabilities well beyond the General Aviation arena.
We are encouraged by the initial response from our current clients and look forward to developing and expanding our book of business.
