Aviation Update

I am very pleased to be able to announce that in the current economic environment which presents challenges for all of us that Charles Taylor aviation continues to look for new opportunities to expand and improve the current services that we are able to offer to our existing and potential Clients.  In addition to the announcement in respect of the acquisition of ASG, which provides us with an opportunity to offer additional services to our existing market and seek new opportunities in other areas, I would like to take this opportunity to highlight other initiatives that we have taken this year to compliment the range of services that we offer.

We have reinforced our commitment to invest in the future of the insurance market by the employment of three additional surveyors from Industry who all have extensive experience in the various aspects of the maintenance and operation of aircraft.  Alan Greensmith, who has extensive experience in Corporate and General Aviation fixed and rotary wing aircraft, has been employed for the London office.  Chris Lovejoy, who has extensive experience of both heavy maintenance and line maintenance of Boeing and Airbus aircraft, has been employed to compliment the Singapore office.  Roger Cross, who has extensive experience in maintenance and repair of Corporate and General Aviation aircraft, has been employed to be based in our Calgary office, which represents a key step in a significant new initiative to support the aviation insurance market in Canada.

Our Dubai office is now well established under the management of Alwyn Roberts which enables us to provide a cost effective solution to supporting the increasing activity of both Airlines/ Insurers and MRO’s in the region.

In Australasia, we have employed Graeme Polley in order to open a CTa office in New Zealand and we have employed Adrian Cate in Australia for our Melbourne office who works closely with his colleagues in our Brisbane and Sydney offices.

We will continue to look for further opportunities to enhance the services we offer and thank you for your support.
