Chubb and Charles Taylor:  An Energy Sector Alliance of Excellence
Partnership Reinforces Firms' Commitment to Dynamic Oil & Gas Industry

Toronto, ON, February 15, 2008 – Chubb Insurance Company of Canada is pleased to announce it has entered into a national strategic partnership with Charles Taylor Adjusting to build upon both companies’ capabilities and leadership in servicing the Canadian energy sector.

An independent claims adjuster with renowned expertise in the energy sector, Charles Taylor is already a member of Chubb’s carefully qualified network of third party service providers with whom the company works across the country.

“From underwriting to claims, Chubb has long been committed to meeting the unique insurance needs of companies involved in all aspects of Canada’s oil & gas industry,” said Susan Watts, Senior Vive President, Claims for Chubb Canada.  “This ‘alliance of excellence’ is the latest example of our commitment to the sector, and another reason why Chubb should be the insurer of choice for Canada’s energy leaders.”

For Chubb’s existing energy clients, claims processes will remain unchanged by the partnership.

“It’s business as usual,” added Watts.  “But behind the scenes, we’ll be able to respond to claims with even greater efficiency that our clients already enjoy and expect from Chubb.”

As an existing member of Chubb’s network or service providers, Charles Taylor has already exceeded strict qualifications in terms of industry leadership, service excellence and ability to respond to clients’ exacting needs.  Through this announcement, Chubb and Charles Taylor will be working more closely on energy-related claims, ensuring both that all Chubb claims procedures are followed precisely, and that the claims process as a whole is seamless for Chubb clients.

Chubb Insurance Company of Canada has offices in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary and employs and exclusive network of more than 200 brokers across Canada.

The member insurers of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies form a multi-billion dollar organization providing property and casualty insurance for personal and commercial customers worldwide through 8,000 independent agents and brokers.  Chubb’s global network includes branches and affiliates in North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia.
